"Is this really necessary? I feel like you’re being way too overly cautious."

"Yeah, well, getting killed by my own Spell is one of the last ways I’d ever want to go out. So I’ll take every precaution I can," I responded objectively, before lowering my hand towards the bridge.

We’ve reached the point that we were intending to split up from, just need to destroy this section of the bridge with black hole and then split up. We were twenty-five meters above it, since that’s the maximum distance when it comes to using a Spell with Distance Casting.

We were inside my Pocket Dimension, with my upper body outside the portal leading into it. Izzy was going to hold on to me while I unleash the Black Hole Spell, to keep me from being pulled in by the force of the black hole.

"Okay, I’ve got a good grip on your wings and tail," She informed me, holding onto my tail with her right hand, my right wing with her left hand and my left wing between her teeth.

"You can tighten your grip a bit more, it’s fine if you damage those parts, since I can regenerate," I pointed out.

"If you say so," She replied, biting down harder on my left wing before tightening her grip on my other wing and tail.

Ow, that stings...but I did tell her to do it, so I can’t exactly complain. Alright, let’s get started...I then activated the Spell right above the floor of the bridge, forming a small black hole before slowly expanding it bit by bit.

"Alright, nice, it’s working," I remarked, as cracks began appearing across the bridge, bits and pieces of the concrete breaking off and getting sucked into the black hole.

"Woah, I’m starting to feel the force," Responded Izzy, tightening her grip on me as I began to get pulled down towards the black hole.

The section of the bridge around it was breaking apart and crumbling rapidly, large chunks of concrete disappearing into the Spell as streaks of water from the river below started to flow up towards it as well, as I continued to gradually expand it.

It’s starting to get harder and harder to breathe, and I can feel Izzy starting to strain a bit to keep herself rooted in place while holding onto me. This is easily the largest black hole I’ve ever created, and I can definitely expand it a lot more...but at this rate, I’ll have to cut it off soon.

"Hey, let me know once it starts to feel like you’re struggling to resist the force of the Spell," I instructed her warily, as Monsters in the water began to get pulled into the Spell, the spot on the bridge over where I’d formed the black hole completely gone now. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

I can’t see exactly how much of the bridge has been destroyed, the black hole is so big now that it’s obscuring my vision. I’ll try expanding it a bit faster now, I won’t be able to keep this up for much longer, so might as well make full use of it while I still can...

"D-don’t underestimate me, this is nothing, I can keep this up all-...woah! Uh, never mind, forget what I just said...I don’t think I can hold onto you much longer!" She exclaimed in alarm, as I felt a strong breeze hitting my back.

I glanced back, to see her with her wings spread out, flapping them rapidly as she tightened her grip on my wings and tail, straining against the force of my black hole.

Y-yeah, I feel it too, I’m being pulled between her and the force of my Spell, it feels like my wings and tail are about to tear right off! And I’m feeling a bit lightheaded too, I can hardly breathe at all anymore...!

I then quickly dissipated the Spell as I felt the black hole start to win the tug of war against Izzy, my body being abruptly pulled back as the force of the black hole faded almost instantly as I undid the Spell.

Izzy and I went flying back several meters into my Pocket Dimension, before she halted herself with a powerful flap of her wings, slamming her palms onto my back to stop me from crashing into her.

"Ow, that hurt...," I groaned, as I felt twinges of pain erupting in my back, before the pain quickly faded thanks to my newly acquired automatic regeneration.

"I hope that took out a big chunk of the bridge, because otherwise this’d have been a total waste of time," She replied with a sigh, as we flew out of my Pocket Dimension.

"You were saying?" I responded with a triumphant smirk as I closed the portal, the two of us staring down at the river, a wide section of the bridge gone.

"Hey, not bad...how much distance did you destroy?" She inquired in fascination.

"Let’s see...I don’t know, it’s hard to gauge from up here. Well, whatever, doesn’t really matter...let’s split up now. You head back west and I’ll head further east before turning around and rejoining you," I remarked, stretching my arms up.

"Yeah, okay. Are you good on time with this transformation?" She asked me.

"Mhm, since it’s only a partial transformation, it lasts for a while longer, should be long enough to go to the east end of the bridge and then head back. And if not, I can switch to flying with Elemental Wind Magic, it’ll be a lot slower though," I responded, before adding, "Alright, let’s get going. Don’t want to keep Argent and Prysm waiting too long, since they’re busy buying time for us."

"Oh, yeah, good point. Okay, then, see you in bit, little brother-in-law," She grinned as she patted my shoulder.

"...come on, don’t call me that, it’s embarrassing."
