Point-of-View: Argent Stryker 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

I swiftly took a couple of steps back, chanting to manifest my Soul Weapon as a layer of flames began to envelop and coat his body like armor, making it look like his skin was made of flames.

"Elemental Lava: Molten Meteor Barrage!" I chanted, breaking chunks off the ground and sending them high into the air as I wrapped them with flames, melting the rocks down before letting them drop down towards my opponent once they were high enough up in the air, before he could finish transforming.

He looked up with a grimace as my molten projectiles came plummeting down towards him rapidly, leaping out of the way in alarm and narrowly evading them, before racing away as I sent a wave of earth spikes extending out towards him.

He then inhaled sharply as he finished transforming, his flaming armor emitting a fiery glow as the air around him shimmered violently, before turning his head in my direction and blasting out a massive wave of flames at me from his mouth.

I quickly chanted to activate my Intangibility Skill, the flames flowing past me as I fired out a barrage of small but rapid lightning bolts at him. The flames abruptly dissipated before my eyes widened in alarm as he came zipping towards me with immense speed, scorching the ground beneath his feet as he raced this way rapidly.

I gritted my teeth and shot toward him before he could close in on me, running right through him as he unleashed a vicious blast of flames at me, I phased through the flames before passing through his body and spinning around as I stepped behind him.

I slashed at the back of his neck as I spun around, but he was turning around to face me as well, swinging his right arm across as the fiery glow of the flames wrapped around it sharply intensified, unleashing a powerful, scorching explosion of flames in my direction.

I grimaced as the soles of my feet, which were tangible to keep me from falling through the ground, got badly burnt, as the tip of my blade cut through his flaming armor and nicked his neck.

I backed away in a rush, wincing as waves of pain burst out from my scorched feet, before flinging one of my blades straight at him with a rapid spin as he began to chase after me, aimed at the middle of his chest.

He quickly turned his body across in alarm, letting out a stifled cry of pain as the blade struck his left shoulder and pierced into in, his left arm slumping down as my blade got lodged inside his shoulder, trickles of blood starting to run down his arm before being evaporated by the heat of his fiery armor.

"Initiate Skill: Limit Breaker!" I chanted, kicking it up a notch as I shot forward, unleashing a drastic burst in speed as my Skill got activated.

He swiped his arm across at my head as I closed in on him, blasting out another destructive, fiery explosion as I grabbed the handle of my blade that was stuck in his shoulder and pulled down on it with all my strength, eliciting an excruciating scream of pain from his as I slashed the blade down his left arm and splitting it in half, his middle finger flying off as a burst of bloody steam exploded out of his split arm as his blood came into contact with the flaming armor around his arm.

He’s strong, yes, but compared to Larrk’s power when he uses his Contract, this is nothing. He’s got power and speed, but he’s not used to it, he can’t go all out without getting overwhelmed by his own speed and losing control of his movements. I’m slower than he is, even with my Limit Breaker Skill active, and I’m less powerful...but even so, he doesn’t stand a chance against me.

"Y-you damned son of a bitch, I’ll wipe out this entire area if that’s what it takes to kill you!" He screamed in a pained, blinding rage, his flaming armor glowing alarmingly bright as he stumbled back with a furious look on his face, his eyes practically bulging out of his head.

Suddenly, a massive sphere of water came shooting down towards him from behind, striking his upper back and eliciting a startled yelp from him as he fell forward onto his hands and knees, an explosion of steam erupting around him as the mass of water evaporated upon impact, before I quickly burst out an earth spike from the ground below him before he could close his mouth.

The spike shot in through his open mouth, a loud crunch and squelch echoing out as it tore through the back of his throat and burst out the back of his head, the flames around him fading away as his body went limp, blood streaming down the earth spike and soaking the dirt and grass below as the cloud of steam floated up into the air and dissipated.

"Thanks, but I had that, you didn’t need to intervene," I remarked, deactivating my Limit Breaker Skill as Prysm came flying down from the top of the wall.

Ow...here comes the backlash. I sat down with a groan as my body throbbed with pain I barely used it for a minute

"I know, but watching the fight got my blood pumping a bit, so I decided to get in on the action a bit," She grinned sheepishly, as she landed with a quiet thud, before adding, "So, now what?"

"Hm, good question. For starters...could you please heal me?"
