Point-of-View: Rayven Farndrey

"Manifest Soul Weapon: Glob!" I swiftly chanted, manifesting my slime blade as several enemies surrounded me.

I then spun across while swinging my arm out horizontally, extending and sharpening the mass of blue slime of my Soul Weapon, slicing through the people surrounding me and cutting them in half along their waists, their blood gushing out and splattering the ground as their severed torsos hit the ground with fleshy thuds.

"You filthy Commoner! Die!" Came an angry voice from behind me.

I spun around to see a bolt of lightning shooting towards me, I quickly formed a shield with my slime blade and blocked the Spell, the lightning fizzling out as it struck my slime.

"Sneak attacks are way more effective if you don’t yell, you know," I advised him, before before firing out a barrage of slime spikes at my assailant as I added, "Well, not that it would’ve worked against me, either way. And you won’t live long enough to learn from this, so..."

He sprang out of the way in alarm as my spikes closed in on him, yelling in pain as several of the projectiles struck his legs and pierced into them, tunneling into his body. I then swung my arm across, the bits of slime that were lodged in his legs shooting upwards, drilling and tearing through the flesh in his legs and thighs, before tunneling up into his torso, ripping his organs to shreds as he coughed out a large puddle of blood with an agonized wheeze.

He then went limp and collapsed, the bits of slime bursting out of his body and rejoining the mass of slime connected to the handle of my Soul Weapon.

I then quickly spun around as I heard footsteps approaching me from behind, to see a woman charging at me with flames swirling around a lance, likely her Soul Weapon.

As I got ready to intercept her, a rapid blur zipped towards her from her right, closing in before she could react, before blood burst out of her neck, her throat ripped out as she let out a gurgling wheeze of agony as blood sprayed out of her neck and splattered all over the ground, the woman collapsing and writhing around in excruciation.

"Thanks for the assist, sis. But I had that," I greeted her with a grin.

"Yeah, yeah, I’m sure you did," She responded dryly as she shook the blood off her claws, before frowning and turning around, "Someone’s heading this way."

"There sure a lot of these lunatics, huh? They’re all pretty weak though, hardly even a challenge," I replied, as a figure appeared from around a corner up ahead.

It was a woman, she looked like she was about in her early thirties, with short, dark purple hair, dark green eyes, was about average height with an agile build. She looks a lot more competent than any of the others I’ve fought so far...

"Tch...unacceptable. I won’t stand for this, Nobles killed by Commoners...you lowly scum, I’ll tear you apart," Growled the woman, before chanting, "Manifest Soul Weapon: Steel Scorpion!"

Metal manifested around both her arms like armor, with curved, sharp pincers over her hands, along with a long metal tail, resembling a scorpion’s stinger.

Rosary shot towards her as I fired out a barrage of slime spikes at her, which she blocked with her scorpion tail before snapping her pincers at Rosary as she closed in on her. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

Rosary sprang over the swing of her pincers and slashed at her head with her claws, the woman blocked it with her tail, a clang echoing out upon impact, before I rapidly extended out my slime towards her like a massive, sharp pillar.

She quickly spun her body across to evade it, grimacing as I gashed her right side, before springing away before I could inject any slime into her body.

She then whipped her tail out behind her as Rosary sprang up towards her back with her claws poised to strike. Rosary blocked the swing with her claws, before chanting as she got sent flying back...

"Initiate Skill: Bind!"

Six golden chains shot out of her right hand, wrapping around the woman’s limbs and torso and restraining her, as I quickly raised my Soul Weapon up high, narrowing and extending the slime as much as possible to form an immensely long, sharp slime blade.

"It’s over!" I declared, swinging it down towards the woman.

"Tch...Contract: Scorpio!" She exclaimed as my slime blade closed in on her, before the chains around her suddenly shattered and she vanished from sight, evading my slash.

My eyes widened in alarm as she reappeared to my left in a rapid blur, I sprang off to my right as a deep gash appeared across my left arm, grimacing in pain before I formed my slime in the shape of several sharp whips and swung them all around me as I regained my bearings.

"Oh, you were able to react? What a waste of ability and talent on a lowly Commoner," Scoffed the woman, eyeing me warily as she kept her distance.

I guess that’s as close to a compliment a Commoner can get from a prejudiced Noble, huh?

Her metal pincers and stinger had turned a reddish orange, and more armor had formed around her entire body, along with eight insect-like legs extending out along her back.

She said Scorpio, that’s a Demonic Grade Monster that looks like a humanoid scorpion. The Contract manifestation seems to have combined with her Soul Weapon...

"Both your Soul Weapon and Contract are scorpion themed, huh?" I remarked warily, as she clacked her pincers a couple of times.

"Indeed. The strong compatibility of my Soul Weapon and Contract has made me one of the most formidable members of the True Nobility. And I shall use my great power to kill you filthy Commoners," She declared with a hateful glare, her eyes seething with anger and disgust...
