Reincarnation Tribulation - All I Want Is A Peaceful Isekai Life
Chapter 345 - The Wind Dragon King(Part 2)
Point-of-View: Izzozon

"Let’s keep this brief, I’d prefer not to draw too much attention here. Hm, how about this...the fight ends as soon as one of us lands a hit on the other?" Suggested Aereeze, as we flew up into the air.
"Sure, that’s fine by me. But it has to be a direct hit, nicks and grazes don’t count, and if an attack is blocked, that doesn’t count either," I responded, wanting to make this last for as long as possible.
"Very well, that sounds fair. Now, then...I’ll let you attack first, that’ll be the signal that starts the bout."
"Alright, sounds good to me...here I come!" I exclaimed as I extended out my claws and shot towards her rapidly, unleashing a burst of flames from my feet to increase my speed as I began to close in on her.
I swung my left arm as she got within my reach, slashing my claws at her neck. She swiftly flew back in response, my claws whizzing past the front of her neck before she opened her mouth and unleashed a powerful blast of wind at me.
I quickly crossed my arms in front of myself, the wind blast hitting my forearms with a jarring impact as I got pushed back several meters through the air. Ow, that really stings...heh, perfect, this is definitely a fight I can enjoy!
"Guess there’s no point in holding back against the likes of you...Unlock Seal: Level 3!" I chanted, before I fired out a scorching wave of blue flames at her as I unleashed sixty percent of my full power, her eyes widening slightly in surprise before she rapidly and fluidly swooped down, evading my flames.
Woah...I’ve never seen anyone fly so freely and efficiently through the air, she’s definitely a lot better than I am at flying. I shouldn’t let her get too close, I’m at a disadvantage against her in the air.
I then took aim and unleashed an intense, crackling bolt of lightning down towards her, she swiftly veered across as she swooped down before swinging her left arm across and firing out a rapid, slashing wave of wind towards me.
I quickly flew back to evade it, before unleashing a barrage of Negative Energy blasts down at her. She flew across in response, weaving through the air and easily evading my blasts, before I shot towards her to try and decrease the distance between us, before firing out two wide, rapid beams of plasma towards her from my hands.
She swiftly shot straight up, evading the beams as the air around her began swirling with steadily increasing intensity, before coming to a halt in midair as my beams petered out.
I took aim and fired out several Negative Energy blasts at her, my eyes widening in surprised as they veered off to her left as they closed in on her, their trajectories getting diverted as they shot past her.
The wind she’s swirling around herself, it’s spinning around her with so much force that my attacks couldn’t break through...it’ll probably rip me to shreds if I get too close.
And she’s steadily starting to expand it, all while maintaining that immense level of intensity, she’s basically creating a tornado...she’s seriously powerful, I suppose I should expect no less from a Dragon King.
I could feel my body starting to get pulled in towards her winds, as she began to hover closer towards me. I spread out my wings wide and flapped them powerfully to resist the pulling force...it’s not as strong as the Black Hole Spell, but it’s still pretty powerful.
Still, it’s not enough to stop me...
As she began to close in on me, I opened my mouth and unleashed a fierce burst of Dragon Fire, a massive wave of blue flames erupting out of my mouth and shooting forward, before rapidly spreading across the air as they came into contact with her winds, her eyes widening in alarm right before I lost sight of her as my flames completely surrounded her, enhanced by her own wind.
I then drew back my right fist as I kept my gaze locked onto the large, swirling sphere of flames in front of me, charging lightning and Negative Energy into my fist as I waited...I have a feeling that even Dragon Fire won’t be enough to trap her.
After all, she’s a Dragon King herself. Liquaqua’s water is capable of putting out blue flames, so I doubt that this is over yet.
Sure enough, a few seconds later, the flaming sphere erupted as a devastating burst of wind exploded out, blowing the flames away before I immediately shot forward at full speed, closing in on her in the blink of an eye and driving my fist forward with all my strength.
She began to move away, but was too slow to react, my fist slamming onto the middle of her stomach with immense force, sparks of lightning bursting out as a flash of Negative Energy erupted upon impact.
She got sent flying back several meters through the air before coming to an abrupt halt by sharply spreading out her wings, grimacing as a trickle of blood ran down the corner of her mouth.
Wow, all that force and that’s all the damage I could inflict? Alright, I’ll just have to keep attacking until she-...!
"Well done...I suppose that brings an end to this little battle. Quite impressive, and I can tell that you’ve yet to realize your full potential," She remarked, as she wiped away the trail of blood and flew over.
Huh? Oh, right...this fight ends when one of us lands a blow. I forgot about that...
As I flew back to the top of the mountain and landed, my mother came bounding over and embraced me, patting my head.
"That was outstanding! You did well, little one," She smiled, continuing to pat my head.
"What are you doing?" Inquired Aereeze curiously, as she flew down and landed beside me.
"I don’t fully understand it myself, but when I do this, I get this pleasant, warm feeling in my body. Here, try it," She replied, before Aereeze reached over with a look of intrigue and began patting my head too.
Uh...
"Hey, don’t leave me out, I want to try that too," Chimed in Liquaqua, as she approached us and joined in.
They’re, uh, they’re all patting my head...what is happening? This is weird...but I suppose it feels nice, so I won’t complain...
"By the way, you mentioned earlier than you were already planning on leaving this place and finding a new location to hide out in. Why is that?" My mother asked Aereeze, as she continued patting my head.
"Hm? Oh, that’s because of the Vampires...they’ve taken over this continent, and I’d prefer to avoid them. I happened to fly past one of the human cities a few weeks ago, and there were no humans whatsoever. They’d all been turned to Lesser Vampires, and there were a large number of Vampires too. It seems to Elder Vampires have grown tired of living in hiding, it likely won’t be much longer before they set their sights on the other continent and drive the humans to extinction," She informed us.
Wait, what? How long has that been happening? We need to get back and let the others know right away, this is really bad...
"No, I doubt they would turn all humans into Vampires and Lesser Vampires...after all, human blood is their main source of sustenance, so they’ve likely kept a handful of them alive," Pointed out Liquaqua.
"This isn’t good, we cannot ignore this...the longer we wait, the larger their army will grow. Aereeze, I don’t suppose you have any idea where Terrastra might be, do you? If we have to go up against the Elder Vampires, we’ll need as much power as we can gather," Stated mother with a grimace...
