Chapter 388: Chapter 388 - Vampire Attack(Part 14)

"What the...? Where am I? What is this place?" Frowned Sirius, as he looked around warily.

"It’s your defeat, Vampire, this is where you die," Responded Lucifer with a smirk.

"Tch, the Magic Item isn’t working, I can’t cast the moonlight barrier...no matter," He muttered as he put the Item away, before turning his attention to Mysst and narrowing his eyes at her, "Ah, I see, so you’re the one who’s responsible for this. In which case...I’ll kill you first!"

He then shot towards her rapidly, closing in on her and whipping his claws across at her face, before his movements suddenly slowed down drastically, as Mysst quickly backed away, grimacing slightly as the tip of one of his claws grazed the bridge of her nose, drawing out a trickle of blood.

"What...the...hell...? I...I can’t...move...freely," Uttered Sirius through gritted teeth, his words coming out slow.

"A-are you okay?" I called out to Mysst, as I quietly sighed in relief.

"Yeah...that was way too close, it took a bit longer than usual to activate the effect of this dimension onto him, guess Demonic Grade beings are somewhat resistant to the power of my Soul Weapon. I’ve only managed to lower the flow of time on his body by half, I can’t make him any slower than this!" She responded as she wiped her sleeve across the cut on her nose, before rapidly getting some distance away as she increased the flow of time on her body to speed herself up.

"Ohh, that’s plenty," Chuckled Lucifer, as she shot towards Sirius, a gleam appearing in her eyes as Mysst sped her up.

Sirius began to turn around, his movements significantly and visibly slower than before, before his eyes widened in alarm as Lucifer vanished from his sight, stiffening as she teleported and reappeared right in front of him.

She then unleashed a powerful burst of her Repel ability, eliciting a sharp gasp of pain from him as he got sent flying back through the space, before I took aim and fired off a barrage of Mana arrows at him, riddling his back and bursting into his torso, streaks of blood spraying out.

Lucifer then teleported a few meters above him and took aim, shooting out a volley of Negative Energy blasts down towards him.

He began to extend out a mass of blood from his palms and tried to form a shield above himself, but it wasn’t just the movements of his body that had slowed down, the speed of the flow of his blood had also been cut in half.

Lucifer’s blasts zipped past his blood well before he could form a shield over himself, peppering his head and shoulders violently, streaks of blood bursting out and splattering across Mysst’s Chronal Dimension.

As Lucifer then teleported away as Sirius began to regenerate, I charged Mana into my Amplifiers and took aim, before pulling the triggers and firing out a massive, drilling beam of Mana towards him, hitting the middle of his back and bursting out the front of his body, carving out a wide hole through his torso, blood gushing out and running down his legs as he gasped in agony. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

"D-damn...it...!" Yelled Sirius in pain and frustration, his regeneration also working at just half its usual speed.

"Don’t let up! Keep blasting him until we hit his core!" Exclaimed Lucifer, as the two of us continued our relentless assault against the Elder Vampire...

Point-of-View: Sirius

N-no, this...this can’t be happening!

I-I’m way too slow, even that green-haired human is faster than I am, to say nothing of Lucifer...that large beam from the human, it managed to get a piece of my core, fatally so.

Every aspect of my movement has been slowed down, including the mobility of my core...I couldn’t move it out of the way fast enough, and his attack struck the side of it and seriously damaged it.

The damage isn’t severe enough to kill me immediately, but I will die in a matter of minutes...I can already feel myself getting weaker, bit by bit. With every passing second, I am at more and more of a disadvantage.

There’s no way I can kill Lucifer or that green-haired human before my time runs out...but I cannot die for nothing! I must accomplish something of significance before I succumb, I cannot perish in vain...I need to at least deal a significant blow to the enemy before that.

Lucifer is powerful, and I cannot deny that that green-haired human is quite formidable as well...but they aren’t the biggest threats here. No, that female human, she’s extremely dangerous...this power, it is a serious threat!

I’ll have to use my Unique Ability on her, I shall take her down with me...fortunately, I managed to get what I need before she used her power to slow me down.

As the male human fired a barrage of energy projectiles at me while Lucifer unleashed Negative Energy blasts, I extended out several blood tendrils and whipped them around me with as much force as I could generate, partially deflecting some of the incoming attacks as I raised my right hand up to my mouth and licked the tips of my claws, ingesting the female human’s blood from when I grazed her nose earlier.

I then grimaced as more of the other two’s attacks peppered my body, several of my bones broken and blood pouring down from all over...on top of that human’s power slowing down my regeneration, my damaged core is further slowing it down. I don’t have much time left...

Suddenly, Lucifer teleported behind me and whipped her claws up, slicing off both my arms before I could react, before she teleported a few meters back and whipped her arm across, unleashing a slashing wave of Negative Energy and hitting the back of my knees, slicing through and severing my legs.

I fell over, my back hitting the ground with a thud, before the green-haired human zipped up into the air above me and unleashed a barrage of energy blasts down at me, piercing through what was left of my body and tearing several holes all over my torso.

I then moved my damaged core, exposing a small part of it through my exposed flesh, around a spot by my heart...

"I see his core! I’ll finish him off!" Exclaimed the green-haired human, as he formed a blade of energy and swooped down towards me with immense speed.

As he closed in on me, he thrust his blade down powerfully, hitting my core dead on and piercing through it, drilling through my heart before a smirk spread out across my lips as I chanted...

"Now...Reciprocity."

Suddenly, the space I’d been transported to abruptly faded, right as a sharp cry of pain rang out.

The male human turned his gaze in that direction, before his eyes widened in horror...at the sight of the female human with a deep, fatal stab wound through the left side of her chest.

"Wh-what...?" She uttered shakily, before coughing out blood and collapsing onto her knees, her eyes rolling back in her head as she fell over and hit the ground with a thud, her body going limp and slumping against the dirt.

Blood poured out of the left side of her chest, seeping into the ground as she succumbed to her fatal injury...

"H-huh? N-no...no, no, no, no, no...," Stuttered the male human, a look of shock on his face as he stumbled back, struggling to process and accept the sight before him.

"W-wait, what...what just happened?" Spoke up Lucifer in disbelief.

"It’s...it’s simple. This is my...Unique Ability...it’s called...Reciprocity. When I...consume the blood...of another...and activate...this ability...any damage dealt...to me...can be...inflicted to them...," I explained, as I pressed the button on the other Magic Item on me, as the last remaining embers of my life began to fade.

Hm? Wait, one of the bulbs was already lit up...were one of the others defeated as well? It seems, despite our thorough preparations, we underestimated our enemy...

"I-I’ll...I’ll fucking...I’LL FUCKING KILL YOU, YOU BASTARD!!!" Roared the male human in an uncontrollable fury, tears of rage streaming down his eyes.

"It’s...too late...for that. You already...already have, human. I’ll be...dead soon...in a matter of...sevonds. You should...feel honored...human...you just killed...an Elder...Vampire...," I smirked, before he charged at me with an enraged, gutteral roar, immense hatred and murderous intent in his eyes.

Forgive me, Lord Dracula...I am about to perish. I just hope my failure doesn’t jeopardize our victory. Well, if nothing else, I managed to deal a significant blow to our enemy by eliminating a serious threat.

I can see the male human savagely tearing what’s left of me apart...and yet, I no longer feel even the slightest twinge of pain. Ah, everything is starting to go dark, I can no longer keep my eyes open...it seems...my time...is up...
