SSS Awakening: I Can Steal Attributes
Chapter 87: Day Progress
Second place was actually Lexie with 55 points, while the third place was Victor with 50 points in total.
The first placer, whose name was Arthur, was already at 65 points. Although it was just ten points of difference between the second and the first, it was actually a lot considering that each point constitutes a monster that they eliminated.
Noah with 30 points was actually a surprise to everyone. He has been the talk of their group chat since yesterday. Most of them asked how he did it and how he was able to do it.
As per Desther’s instruction, he did not divulge a thing and did not even tell them where they were as of this moment.
For one, he was afraid that it would upset Desther, and second, he doesn’t want all of them to know their hunting spot either.
The two of them only rested for a bit before they continued their hunt.
Surprisingly, even though it was always Noah who would confront the monsters first with Desther acting just as support, their speed in killing monsters still did not diminish even for a bit.
On the contrary, it might have even become faster, especially when Noah finally learned how to ignore the gun sound that would always come off while fighting a monster.
Their killing efficiency increased by a lot of margin.
Everything was too easy for Noah. He slowly got accustomed to fighting the monsters head-on. His initial fear of them slowly dissipated as each battle was a learning experience for him.
With Desther acting as support, he only needs to face the monster head-on, and then Desther would follow up with his gun, and then after that, Noah would smash the monster’s head with his baseball bat.
Just an ordinary bat, it has now become dented after multiple monster kills and hits. His shield also looked worn and damaged. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
"Nice, I finally hit Level 3," Noah exclaimed in delight the moment he smashed the monster’s head into paste.
Earning a level per day was obviously a good result already. This was mainly because they had a very high killing efficiency, and most of their kills provided them with experience points as well.
This was already their 41st kill for the day.
Noah now has a total of 50 points, while Desther increased his to 6 points to avoid unnecessary attention.
Having 50 points, Noah was firmly sitting at the top 41 in the rankings, while Desther was still among the last 10 of the rankings.
There were no major changes in the individual and Class Rankings, except for the fact that Class D had widened the gap from their Class A even further.
It seemed that as their level increased and their growing familiarity with the monsters in the area, the number of monsters they could kill each day seemed to have increased as well.
In the Class A ranking, Victor was now first with 67 points, followed by Lexie with 65, and then Noah was now in third place with 50 points, surprising a lot of their classmates.
In their Class Ranking, Desther was in the last place. He did not plan for it to be like this, though. He planned to increase his points later on just to avoid being at the last spot.
He preferred to be in the middle of the rankings.
Obscured and hidden in plain sight.
"It’s getting late, let’s call it a day," Desther decided upon seeing that the surroundings began to dim.
The sun was already setting in the west, and they still had to travel back to their tree house to get a proper rest.
Noah nodded his head. He was also getting tired from hunting all day long.
He had already increased his Vitality and Strength after leveling up twice, however, it still could not keep up with their pace.
Looking at Desther, who barely broke a sweat, he could not help but shake his head and wonder just how high his attributes and level were.
He also firmly believed that Desther was actually no longer a low-level Tier 0 Awakened Professional like him.
Else, how could he contest with strength against that Devil Boar from before?
Although he guessed it, he did not mention or talk about it. For things like this, it was better for them to stay hidden, an information best taken to your grave.
He even wondered if he had already reached Tier 1 and already gotten a class.
Considering how low-key Desther was, that was actually a possibility.
The two of them began their journey back to their tree house. They took the corpses they got along the way, planning to dump them all in that one spot.
As they made their way back, Desther decided to take a look at his current Profile Status.

There were no major changes except from the fact that his Free Attributes once again broke through into three digits. His level was still at Level 9 with a progress of 25%.
This was already good enough considering he only assisted Noah with the kill and that the monsters around here were of generally low level compared to him. The Demon Bunnie’s for example, should be around the range of level 2-5.
Once he faced monsters around level 7-10, Desther assumed that his experience acquisition would once again receive another boost.
It was just that he was not used to it after smashing through the levels in just one day.
Well, there was the mission reward back then, contributing to his leveling speed as well.
It was indeed good to receive a reward, but he just did not like the fact that he needed to work for it.
’Sigh! If only there were free rewards like some system novels I read online.’
After a few minutes of tracing their steps, Desther and Noah finally arrived near their dumping site when Desther suddenly stopped and raised his hand to stop Noah from going forward.
