A-Xuan’s smile faded and he looked at Kalel surprised when he asked:

"Are you in love with Elwyn?"

Even if he only took Drea’s place he and Elwyn get along well. Maybe over time, he developed feelings for him.

A-Xuan looked down.

"He’s my husband."

Kalel lifted his head and looked into his green eyes.

"That’s not what I asked."

A-Xuan looked at him feeling frustrated. He knows he’s not Drea and that he has to act as him for his father.

Why is he making things complicated for me? Once he deals with them all he’ll be with him but right now he’s not done.

A-Xuan threatened:

"Do not make things difficult for me."

Kalel looked at him for a few seconds, he held his face and then kissed him. A-Xuan pushed him back but he wouldn’t let go. He was only able to resist for so long until he sunk into his arms.

Kalel pulled back and gazed at A-Xuan, his eyes were shining and his lips were parted. He looked intoxicating.

He asked again:

"Are you in love with Elwyn?"

A-Xuan pushed Kalel who was still holding him and took a deep breath to calm himself. Kalel was looking at him like a wounded puppy and he is such a sucker for it.

He frowned.

"No."

Kalel smiled and held onto his waist.

"So you’ll be mine?"

A-Xuan wrapped his arms around his neck.

"It depends."

"On what?"

A-Xuan smiled viciously.

"I want to take them all down and for that, there are things I need to do. If you can’t handle it then we shouldn’t be together."

To get to his husband he needs to finish the mission so it’s either not having him in this life and making his soul whole or the opposite.

Kalel tightened his hold.

"I’m not letting you go."

A-Xuan smiled, he leaned in and kissed him. He pulled back and caressed his cheek.

He said:

"Beside My father and Drea, your uncle and cousin are also on my list."

"I don’t care. Tell me what I can do to help you."

A-Xuan smirked.

"You mean besides finding my twin and bringing him to the gala?"

Kalel looked away feeling guilty, after a few seconds, he peeked at A-Xuan and when he saw he wasn’t angry he explained.

"I knew you weren’t Drea and I wanted him to come back to take back his place."

"It’s fine if you hadn’t brought him back I would’ve."

Kalel smiled happily. He felt relief knowing that A-Xuan has been

acting all along.

The thought of him falling for Elwyn gave rise to nightmares.

"Do you know how you’re going to deal with your father?"

A-Xuan answered’

"I’ll take what he cares most about."

"His hotel."

A-Xuan’s eyes flashed.

"Exactly, you’ll need to do something for me when I tell you."

"Whatever you need baby."

A-Xuan leaned in and pressed his forehead against his. Kalel smiled and held him tightly.

Those past few days he’s been so worried that he wouldn’t have the only thing he’s ever wanted.

Despite what people think he never wanted Grey Media or any of its subsidiaries he just did what he had to.

His father became sick and he was the one who had to run his mother’s company.

Those companies have been in his mother’s family for generations and he had no plan on letting his greedy uncle Jax get his dirty hands on it.

He believed he would run everything after his father’s death. He should be happy that he even gave him a company to run, well not for long anymore.

He is displeased with how he forced A-Xuan to marry his son but if he hadn’t he would’ve never met him.

A-Xuan pulled back.

"I’ll see you tomorrow, you better behave."

Kalel smiled and kissed him one last time before letting him go. As long as he knows he’s his he can deal with everything that comes his way.

At least now when he’ll see him being close to Elwyn he’ll know he’s only pretending.

When A-Xuan woke up he took a shower and had his breakfast sent to his room. After that, he went to the piano room to rehearse for tonight.

He doesn’t need to but he loves playing the piano. He learned during his time stuck as cannon fodder but he only liked it moderately.

But with the original’s lingering emotions he adores playing. He stayed in the room for hours never stopping.

Elwyn came back to the estate an hour before the gala and smiled when he heard music.

He took the elevator and stood at the entrance listening to A-Xuan playing.

He doesn’t want to disturb him and likes that he can admire him freely. Even if he and Drea are identical A-Xuan has an air about him.

His aura is that of a prince, someone refined while Drea’s is that of a child who doesn’t know what he wants. After a while, A-Xuan stopped and looked at him.

He had a beautiful smile on his face and Elwyn couldn’t remember the last time someone was genuinely this happy to see him.

"You’re back."

Elwyn stepped in and sat next to him with a smile.

"I am. I brought you a suit for tonight it’s in your suite."

A-Xuan thanked him. Elwyn looked at the music sheets.

"Are you done rehearsing?"

"I’ve been done for a while I was just playing."

Elwyn looked at the name marked on the piano and felt bitter. He can’t compare to his cousin when it comes to power or money but he feels that maybe A-Xuan wouldn’t care about that.

Even if he doesn’t he doesn’t like the fact that Kalel purchased him this piano. He asked out of the blue:

"Do you hate me?"

A-Xuan frowned and then asked:

"I don’t. Why would you ask me that?"

Elwyn looked down and murmured:

"We both know that you were forced into taking Drea’s place and now you have to attend all these events when you hate those kinds of things."

A-Xuan smiled and lifted his head so their eyes would meet.

"If I hadn’t I never would’ve gotten to know you. It’s the only good thing that came out of it."

A-Xuan let go of him his cheeks flushed. Elwyn smiled caressing them. He doesn’t hate me. Maybe one day he can love me too.

"You’re very cute when you blush."

A-Xuan blushed harder and gave him a peck on the cheek before running off and saying:

"I’ll go prepare or we’ll be late."

Elwyn had the biggest smile on his face. He touched the cheek A-Xuan kissed, he could still feel his warm lips. He can’t believe that he fell for him during their fake honeymoon.

This is insane. The honeymoon he was supposed to go on with Drea the ger he was in love with.

But that’s the thing he is still in love but now he’s in love but with A-Xuan.

At first, when he found out that Drea had run away with a man he was extremely furious but he still wanted him to come back.

He knew if he did he would’ve welcomed him with open arms but now he loathes him for betraying him.

Drea said he loved him and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life by his side but those words were all lies, they meant nothing.

And now that he thinks about it he only ever cared about himself, he was so blinded by his love for him that he never noticed that.

It was only after spending those two weeks with A-Xuan that he realized how unhealthy their relationship was.

Drea was narcissistic and he would always throw tantrums and the only way to make it stop was to buy him expensive presents.

He would never ask him about his day or work or anything related to him really.

But every day A-Xuan would ask him how he’s doing and truly listened to him when he spoke. He even remembered his favorite food which seem like nothing but it isn’t to Elwyn.

No one in his life knows that not even his father. His mother spends all her time shopping and his father is always at work.

All his friends care about is partying and getting drunk but he never cared about that.

He likes all those nights he spent watching movies with A-Xuan and he has no intention to let that go.

I’ll make things official with him after the gala. I won’t let Kalel take the best thing in my life. He got up and went down to his room to get ready.

When he was done he waited downstairs for A-Xuan, the elevator doors opened and he stepped out. He was wearing a two-piece dark green suit.

When he reached Elwyn he complimented:

"You look nice."

Elwyn smiled as he returned the compliment:

"Thank you. You look very handsome."

A-Xuan blushed and thanked him looking down. He is so sweet.

Elwyn grabbed his hand and walked out to the car waiting for them.

He opened the door for A-Xuan and after he was in he took a seat next to him.
