I would give a 4 star rating, but the author spends too much time on irrelevant characters that interrupt the flow of the MC storyline. The sad part is that the author stated she enjoys writing these interruptions. It's fine to write those storyline, but as separate books, which I would read those books/stories because the author does write very well written stories when the flow of the storyline isn't interrupted. It really makes it hard for readers to stay with the story when authors do that especially when they do not directly have anything to do with the main characters and their storyline.

I don't usually rate 5 stars, but in this case I am. This is a very well written entertaining laugh out loud story. I can't wait for the novelbuddy to update it as I know there are at least 400 chapters, but I don't know if the author has completed all 400 yet.

The story started off great. I would give it 4.5 stars for the first 100 or so chapters. After that it becomes filled with page fillers and non-essential fluff that doesn't add to the story line. In fact I would go so far as the say it detracts from it. Around chapter 200 they must have switched translators because the names kept changing and the gender was always male for the female characters. Then it became where the chapters titles were different, but the body of the chapter was the previous chapter. I had to go to a different website to read the missing chapters and muddle through the machine translations which made it hard to read. I ended up skipping to the last 3 chapters to see how it ended due to the bad translation and multiple page fillers.

I would give it another star, but the translation is not that good. The tranlator could not seem to keep the gender straight within the same sentence. The female lead is often referred to as a male. The copy paste cuts sentences off. Speaking quotes only have the end quote and some times they show up in the middle of the speaking sentence followed by the end quote.

The female lead starts off as an annoying brat, but hang with it because she does grow up and matures as the story goes along. Some places it has  page fillers that really don't add to the story. I just skimmed through them and I was still able to keep with with the plot line. Also I'm not sure if it's the author or the translators, but the time switches up where in one chapter the events take place over a week or month, but the next chapter the timing shrinks or expands.

I do like that the female lead is true to her emotions and she doesn't suffer fools gladly. She doesn't forgive her parents which they do not deserve to be forgiven. I also like how the male lead loves the female lead, but he is also human and makes mistakes and neither one is good at communicating which would have solved a lot and prevented a lot of their issues.

Over all once you get use to the bad translation it is an enjoyable story.

The male lead is abusive, a rapist and has no redeemable qualities. The female lead is strong and likeable. I'm hoping that she escapes the ml and finds true love elsewhere. That's the only reason I'm reading it, otherwise I would have given up on this story as unlikable the ml is.

I should have looked at the tags instead of the summary. The male lead is not a good guy at all. He's a rapist, murderer and abuser. How this is a "romance" is beyond my definition of romance. I gave it 2 stars because what I've read so far flowed as a novel should in the way of plotline, character development etc. and female lead is mentally strong to put up with the male lead and all that he's done to her. Too bad, in my opinion, she's suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. I read up to chapter 288, before setting it aside due to my dislike of the male lead.

The story is okay it could be better as most of it seemed to be the netizens making comments etc. instead of about the FL and ML. At this point I'm not sure if the story has been completed as the chapter is titled "End" and hasn't been updated in 2 months. I hope that it isn't completed as I feel the story isn't truly completed due to various plots in the story being unresolved.

Towards the last posted chapter I really wasn't feeling the FL and ML were truly into each other or at least the author didn't express those emotions clearly.

Over all the story isn't bad, but there is room for improvement and if it did abruptly end as it stands now then my rating will go down. I feel stories should at least have an epilogue to wrap up loose ends if the author needed to end the story that way it doesn't leave the reader hanging with questions as to what happened with those unresolved loose ends.

This story started off really great. It had a different take of FL dying and then transmigrating to another body. There was no revenge involved. The FL just had rehabilitate the previous host's bad reputation. The story seemed to fall apart when more time was spent on other character's and the original plotline would be "forgotten" only to be picked back up (sort of) later on only to be forgotten again. I believe if the story didn't deviate to other character's and their love life it wouldn't have been too bad, but then all of a sudden this person from 1000 years ago is like a hidden boss to modern times. It was plausible when the 4 classes calligraphy, painting, chess etc.. were things she excelled at, but the others not so plausible. I began skipping chapters about half way through untill I couldn't take it any more and just read the last three chapter just to finish it.

I don't usually give 5 stars, but this storyline is great. I love that there is no side storylines thrown in at any given point about different characters that takes several chapters to resolve. Any chapters that don't have the main character Feng Wu in it is geared to flesh out the plot or to create drama. It's also very laugh out loud funny as well. I can't wait to see where the author takes us with this story. I highly recommend reading it and I will also be reading it again and again as it is thoroughly enjoyable.
