The story had potential, but at the end it left a lot of loose strings. Too many questions and no answers and the FL and ML in the last chapter I won't spoil it, but to say the least it was disappointing.
I tried to get into the story, but the protagonist is too robotic and unemotional. It makes for a boring story. It's a typical cliched story, but not interesting enough to continue reading due to the unnemotional MC. I still have no idea about the plot as to when is the MC supposed to be pampered, as far as I can see she's just being used as a punching bag by the grandmother and cousin.
As much as I enjoyed the beginning of the story it became cliched and boring. Now even the 1 year old children are geniuses and perfect and can physically do things perfectly. And now the moral of the story has become if you're rich you can murder someone, justified or not, in front of the police and get away with it, all because you're rich. But you can still pretend to be upright and moral. The story started off at a 4.5 and ended as a 1.
I don't know why this is only rated a 2 star. In my opinion it should be at a 3.5 to a 4 star. The story line moves along, so far, no side character chapters that take up enough chapters to have their own book, and my personal favorite a heroine/hero who is not perfect in every career path and can do everything better than everyone else, not to mention too beautiful that all the men fall in love with their looks. I like that the protagonist is pretty/attractive, but the men don't fall for her because she's beautiful, but because of who she is and what she does.
I know it's just a story, but how can you shuffle your kids off to relatives to raise and call yourselves parents? My Dad worked 3 jobs so my Mom could stay home and raise us kids plus he went to college and earned a degree so he could get a better paying job to support his family. The point being they still raised us. In this story they are rich and can't bring their kids with them? Definately not parents of the year.

How do you know I haven't complained about it just because you haven't seen it here? That would be an assumption on your part.
P.S. There is no shame in using spellcheck.

I really wish authors left out anti country propaganda. No country is perfect. I understand that ...
I hate stories that glorify ra**. This story started of great, but has really disappointed me. All the characters either become annoying or irredeemable. I can't understand how the heroine gets shot in the left shoulder, but has somehow severely damaged her uterus.
Critically endangered yellow croaker and they're going to eat it. Wow I'm speechless at how irresponsible they are. I guess they would give themselves pats on the back if the species went extinct. I realize that this is a book and therefore not real, but it speaks of the thoughts of the author.
I really wish authors left out anti country propaganda. No country is perfect. I understand that people love their country, but people read stories to get away from the reality of their lives and not to be immersed in country bashing regardless of how subtle or blatant it is. I don't think I will finish reading this story, which is a pitty as most part of the story is really good. I just can't stomach the covert hate of a country I love.

Over all I really like the story. I was enthralled with it up until the story veered off onto side stories of the other characters before ending with a cliched vampire underlying theme. I would however read it again as I do love all the characters especially in the very beginning. Some loose ends are still hanging and never tied up like what happened to the Fu brother, father and there was a sister, but she disappeared as the story went along. What about Mother He? While those do not take away from the story it would have been nice to see the evil Fu family really get the karma they deserved.
First cousins marrying, how incestuous.
It's pitiful when the main character's take a back seat to the side characters. How annoying.
I must say this is a refreshing storyline, to have a dialogue box above the FL's head for people to see. Very creative and entertaining.

Is this really the end? Too many loose ends if it is and way too abrupt of an ending. I hope it is just an intermission until the new updates come???
