Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 637: Valuable Information
Emperor Zain stared at the eldritch form of the All-King, secretly wondering how a lion could attain such a form.
Was this his true form?
That should also not be possible.
How could it be?
He had seen the images from the info orbs, he had seen that it was supposed to be a simple golden link with a few additions like wings and extra wings.
That was a normal thing and Emperor Zain had expected it because Kael was a fellow Primordial.
However, this was not what he had expected.
Could it be possible that this was a third form?
Could Primordials gain third forms?
As these questions passed through Emperor Zain’s head, only a second had passed since the All-King spoke.
Everyone was waiting in silence, feeling the air getting thicker.
Even King Abel, the brown-winged tier 7 lion king who was the leader of the welcoming party could not believe what he was seeing.
The power pressure coming from the eldritch figure in the sky was beyond anything he had ever felt. This was a power level that was inching infinitely close to the immortal tier, something that he had been pursuing all his life.
"Hmm," Suddenly, Emperor Zain opened his mouth.
"I apologize if you misread my intentions, All-King," Emperor Zain said as he kept waving his wide sleeves and placed his hands behind his back.
He was not scared, unlike the rest. This eldritch form was frightening, yes, so frightening that Emperor Zain’s smile kept faltering every time he saw the edge of the creature blur in and out of existence.
Hearing what he said, the lions below wore looks of disappointment while the Creation Dragons sighed with relief. They had come here for an alliance, not a provocation.
Not to mention that they were all inside the Leonine Heavenly Realm with their arkships parked far away.
The only source of real protection that they had was Emperor Zain himself. But how many could Emperor Zain protect?
If all the lions of heaven were summoned to this location because of their provocation, then they would all die.
The only person who would be able to logically escape from heaven would be the Dragon Emperor, the rest would suffer fates worse than death.
It was to their relief that the Dragon Emperor spoke out so soon to apologize.
But it was also a stint on their faces. The All-King had proven that he was ready to throw hands if they showed disrespect, he was not going to take any nonsense here.
"If you don’t mind, All-King, let us call down so that we can resume our meeting," Emperor Zain said, still keeping a smile on his face.
There was another round of silence. Nothing was said by the eldritch being again.
Time passed and just as everyone was thinking that the tension was building up, there was a flash of light.
Emperor Zain’s eyes widened slightly as he focused his full attention on the eldritch lion that turned into countless moats of golden light.
Unfortunately, he could not do so. The light was not just bright, it was shielded by the various rules of the universe that prevented his eyes from glimpsing the true nature of the rules.
Emperor Zain was not granted access because...he was inferior.
The golden flash had lasted for just a second but in that brief moment, Emperor Zain understood something.
Kael was deep.
The All-King had joined a path of no return and it was hard to understand what was happening to him.
The golden flash died down and the figure of the original humanoid All-King was revealed.
Kael, now in his humanoid form, floated in front of Emperor Zain with his hands also behind his back.
His cold golden gaze met Emperor Zain’s eyes. Just like before, his blonde hair was combed back and his attire was still looking well-ironed.
It was as if nothing had happened.
"Hmm," Kael observed Emperor Zain calmly, although his eyes were very cold.
Emperor Zain did not try to be provocative this time. He shifted his gaze away from Kael’s eyes and looked at the forehead or eyebrows. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
Kael’s brows did not relax.
"You came for an Alliance meeting..." Kael opened his mouth to say, "I hope you brought gifts."
Emperor Zain sighed when he heard Kael’s voice at such a distance.
He had confirmed it.
Kael was really far too deep into the Primordial Soup of the universe.
He had reached a level of embodiment that should not even make sense.
Emperor Zain who was an immortal tier and had been alive for more than five hundred thousand years had not even achieved a quarter of what Kael had done with his own Law of Creation.
He remembered what he had learned from the Original Heaven. It had been a long time since a Primordial fully embodied his law, it wasn’t like it had never happened before.
But the number of times it had happened in the entire recorded history of the Known Universe could be counted on one hand.
The last time it happened, the results were devastating, but only those who lived in the various heavens had noticed.
Many races were effectively wiped out of existence just because they had been affiliated with the same Law as the being who fully embodied it.
Emperor Zain shivered when he recalled the stories of that being.
Kael was doing the same thing that being was doing, albeit with a different method.
If Kael continued like this, a time would come when he would no longer be affiliated with the Law of Conquering, he would BE the Law of Conquering.
Emperor Zain wished for this fate for himself too. Because he had been to Original Heaven, he knew more about the universe than most of the others from the mortalverse.
He knew that the universe was truly brutal and uncaring for the creatures that existed within it.
Just like other races, the dragons were not the only ones affiliated with the law of Creation or Destruction.
If for some reason, another creature was able to fully embody the law of Creation or Destruction before the Primordial Dragons...
Emperor Zain sighed, suddenly feeling as if no one around him could relate to him. No one understood him, and for that, he felt truly lonely.
"Yes, we did," Emperor Zain said, sounding much calmer than before.
He descended slowly and Kael descended with him, keeping their eyes on each other.
Although it was still shocking when they recalled the transformation of Kael into that eldritch entity, they calmed down now. Questions would be asked later.
Meanwhile, Kael’s aura had been condensed once again and masked. Now, the only thing Emperor Zain could decipher from his aura was that Kael was a tier 6 Primordial, nothing more.
How Kael could go from reality-bending abomination to an ordinary-looking person and not leave any residual aura, no one knew.
When they landed, Victoria walked up to them, looking at Kael with a very uncomfortable expression on face.
It was hard to say if she was scared or just very uncomfortable.
"Victoria, please, give the All-King what we got for him," Emperor Zain said.
Victoria nodded and waved her hand. The spatial holding bracelet on her wrist lit up with grey light.
Kael turned his head lightly, looking at the bracelet with a certain look of disinterest.
Suddenly, an info orb appeared in Victoria’s hand. The glass surface was shimmering with the light of valuable info confirmed within.
Kael raised an eyebrow, "What’s that?" He asked, speaking lion language.
Everyone has been using lion language to talk since they arrived.
"Knowledge, All-King," Victoria said as she handed the info orbs to Kael.
The scene was awkward because Kael did not make any attempt to receive it. Victoria’s hand had been stretched out with the orb waiting to be dropped into Kael’s hand, but Kael just stared at her.
Silence.
Once again.
"What kind of information is that?" Kael asked.
He had been expecting them to bring a gift to show their intention for the alliance. It was the most basic ritual when trying to strengthen relationships between factions.
He just didn’t expect that the Creation would bring an Info Orb.
Was there anything he didn’t know?
"The Original Heaven, and the history of some of the most powerful Primordials, including the last Primordial to achieve full embodiment."
Emperor Zain spoke with a confident smile on his face.
Kael did not show any expression of interest or dissatisfaction. He kept his thoughts at the depths of his mind.
Then, he stretched out his hand and received the information orb, watching as it dropped from Victoria’s hand into his.
Instantly, Kael’s powerful spirit sense browsed the surface contents of the info orbs.
He saw what Emperor Zain was talking about. Indeed, this Info Orb contained some information that looked very valuable.
But...
"It’s not enough," Kael said, shocking the listeners, "You still owe the lions compensation for allying with Ma’abu and the tigers.
You were an accessory to the deaths and emotional damage of many kings.
We need compensation."
