Jeremy is rushing forward. He has yet to see the outline of the bedrock mountain. His vision is zoomed in. He is looking at the sight far ahead.

He hears the bird cry again. He thinks the bird is enraged. He didn’t fall into its trap, but the sense of crisis hasn’t diminished yet.

He knows that the sense of crisis won’t go away as long as the beast’s gaze is locked onto him. The crisis of death will be there.

The flying eagle sees that its human prey is slipping away. It has to take action quickly. The flying eagle makes a decision.

The huge, monstrous body descends all of a sudden. The eagle eyes of the beast lock onto the fleeing prey.

As it descends, the wind force sweeps away the surroundings. The green trees, bushes, and rocks are swept away by the force.

The flying eagle’s body moves forward. The steel-like wings cut down the tall shade trees. None of them stand in the way.

Jeremy Night, who is fleeing forward, feels his senses scream all of a sudden. His heart is tightening this time due to the overwhelming sense of crisis.

While fleeing, he casually turns back. His eyes catch sight of the flying eagle. It is actually behind him, razing down everything along the way.

"Explosive Steps!"

Jeremy tries to increase his pace. He is already at top speed.

If not for his eye power and super senses, he would have crashed into the ground. Because of the eye power and super senses, he is able to slow down and speed up whenever needed.

Now that the flying eagle is about to catch him, he speeds up again.

The flying eagle increases its speed. Its whole body speeds forward. In a flash, it gets closer to the target. The claws of the eagle beast are about to catch the target.

Jeremy Night abruptly changes direction again. He avoids the claws by a narrow gap.

He takes a pause for a couple of seconds, then continues fleeing forward. Fine beads of sweat cover the forehead of Jeremy Night. His heartbeat is increasing.

As time goes by, he makes split-second decisions to avoid the claws of the eagle beast.

Boom!

The flying eagle beast is enraged. It is sweeping away all the obstacles along the way. It can’t catch the small prey.

It makes the eagle beast competitive. The flying eagle decides to catch the prey at all costs.

Time goes by.

Jeremy Night has been running in a zigzag manner. Finally, he catches sight of the series of bedrock mountains.

After seeing the mountain rocks, he sighs in relief. Jeremy Night charges toward the bedrock.

He controls his fall as his body crashes to the ground. Since he controlled his body, the fall was not bad. He is able to avoid gruesome injuries.

The massive claws of the eagle beast strike the mountain top hard. The claws are so strong that they break the hard stones. Several broken stones fly in all directions.

Jeremy feels the tremor inside the cave. The tremor is huge. The whole cave is shaking. Small rocks are falling from the ceiling above.

Screech!

The massive flying eagle rises into the sky. It understands that the human prey is hidden inside the mountain cave.

The flying eagle is angry. The steel-like wings create a powerful force which sweeps across the place again.

On the other hand, Jeremy sees that the tremors have stopped.

No more stones are falling from above. Seeing that, Jeremy sighs in relief. He thinks that the flying beast has given up and won’t be chasing him anymore.

Jeremy relaxes a lot. It has been more than twice that he was chased by powerful, corrupted beasts. He has the experience of being captured by a flying-type beast before.

Then he was chased by a snake-type beast back in the 10th Zone. Here, he faced the Tsetse Fly Beasts not long ago. Now, he was chased by a flying-type eagle beast.

Boom!

The next second, something strikes the mountain rock from above.

Tremor!

Jeremy feels the huge tremor again. His facial expression changes drastically. Stone pieces are falling from the ceiling one by one. Jeremy Night stands up from the ground.

Outside

The flying eagle beast circles in the sky. The shadow of the huge eagle beast falls on the ground.

The presence of the beast is felt by other corrupted beasts. They don’t dare to get close to the mountain rock.

All of a sudden, the flying eagle descends. Its target is the huge mountain rock. The claws of the beast are aimed at the huge mountain rock.

In a shot, the claws strike the top of the mountain. Already, the mountain top was cracked by earlier strikes.

He thought the flying eagle beast had given up, but he was wrong; the beast won’t go away without destroying the bedrock. He then goes to the cave entrance.

If he stays inside, the possibility of being buried inside is higher. He is using his brain to come up with a solution.

If he has no choice, then he will have to flee again. But he decides to wait further and see.

He believes that the eagle beast could give up midway. There is no point in wasting time with him; the beast can do other things in the meantime.
